St Benedict's Catholic College
Benny's Bites College Magazine - Friday, 10 June 2022

Last Friday our college community celebrated St Benedict's Feast Day.
Our day started with our College Feast Day Mass, then from the Mass our college community moved to the COLA where every member of the community was given a drum and taught different drum patterns, playing together as a whole community or in a call and response pattern by following the lead of the African Drumming Group. 1000 drums in any one place as you can imagine was a lot of fun but most importantly it was about sharing this memorable experience with every member of our wonderful Bennies community

Wall Framing Competency by Year 12 Construction
12 Construction have been working on their Wall Framing Competency Task. They were required to read and interpret a set of plans and then build the wall frame from these plans. A door and small window opening were part of the plans. After this frame was built, they had to pull the frame apart and de-nail the timber for use in future tasks.
