IMPORTANT MESSAGE
On Friday, March 13th, our teachers informally asked students about home access to the internet. We also tried to determine who might not have a Chromebook, laptop or similar device. Please email kimberly.little@fcps.org to let us know if your child needs internet access and/or a device. If the closure is extended, we would like to ensure that our students have online resources to continue learning.
To Our Students:
We miss seeing your faces every school day, but we hope you are enjoying this time home with your families! A huge shout out to our amazing custodians who have been working hard to deep clean our building. We may be apart but we are still UNITED! Remember one team, one goal, NO LIMITS!
Option for High-Speed Internet:
If a student's family is currently without the Internet, visit this website: https://www.internetessentials.com/covid19
Comcast is providing an opportunity for households without Internet to utilize free WiFi for a two-month time period. Read the offer carefully on this website for more information.
Expectations for Learning
As a reminder, per the state mandate, FCPS was closed March 16 and will continue to be closed through Friday, March 27. During this 2-week period, it is not expected or required that students complete assignments. Teachers may have provided books, documents and other materials to students as we encourage students to practice and continue learning during the school closure. FCPS will provide further direction if the school closure is extended.
