I found Piaget's cognitive development interesting it describes how you go through life and the different ages in a more scientific way its more understandable
Sensorimotor stage
Individuals experience the world only through their senses
Reflex based
Birth - Age 2
Preoperational stage
Individuals first use language and other symbols
Begin to use imagination

Concrete Operational Stage
individuals first see casual connections in their surroundings
see how and why things happen
