Highlights from NC Alumnae State Day & Region XIV Weekend

NC Delta Zeta Alumnae State Day-February 23, 2013

Delta Zeta Alumnae from across the Tarheel State gathered in Greensboro for the 2nd Annual NC Alumnae State Day in conjunction with Region XIV's Collegiate Weekend. Sisters were treated to day filled with connections and sisterhood. The day began with a State of the Region address from Victoria Respess, Region XIV RCD followed by a State of the State address from Shenna Russell, NC State Alumnae Chairman. Alumnae then participated in the alumnae ritual workshop, "A Ritual Review for Alumnae: More than a Handshake and Password" facilitated by Patricia Tector, Past National Ritual Chairman and Jennifer Stoudt, NC Reconnection Coordinator. Alumnae were treated to a lemonade and gourmet cupcake social, followed by a Best Practices Roundtable. Amanda Mathis, Blue Ridge Area Alumnae Director ended the alumnae only program helping alumnae chapters utilize the best marketing tools and practices. Alumnae and Collegians then enjoyed a time of networking before dinner, which included awards for NC's Alumnae Chapters. The day ended with an Alumnae Panel Question and Answer Session. Panel participants included: Sabrina Colquitt, Region XIV Advisor, Louise Britt, Triad Alumnae Chapter, and Jennifer Stoudt, NC Reconnection Coordinator.
