Data Bytes:
Data Friends! As you know, the data warehouse has been under construction for the past year. The district’s IBM Cognos license expired November 10, 2017, and we are rolling out our new tool starting December 1st! You can expect to see building profiles containing enrollment, attendance, and assessment information-among other things! You will have all of this information-literally- at your fingertips via the mobile app, and you will also have the ability to break down the data and see it disaggregated before your eyes. Follow us on Twitter @SPSAnalytics for more info and training opportunities!
Assessment Reminders:
· The K-8th grade MOY i-Ready Window runs 11/27/17 – 1/19/18
o If a student begins the diagnostic, they have 21 business days to complete the test or the diagnostic will reset and the student must start over
o If your building uses Standards Mastery, both reading and math diagnostics must be completed before Standards Mastery assignments are available to students
o i-Ready Central is a great resource to view how-to videos, discover helpful tips and explore planning tools
· The EOC 2nd Quarter testing window runs 12/12/17 – 12/20/17

A reminder about flyer distribution. We neither endorse, promote, or discourage after school programming. Distribution of flyers can be viewed as such. This is why we utilize a community table/information approach to distribution. To ensure we are working within the appropriate parameters, please review our process by clicking here, or go to the School District Partnership file found in Canvas. Please contact me if you have any questions.
Also, December is approaching the right time to being student retention discussions. This is a practice not necessarily encouraged, as we know the long-range impact is generally negative. However, under the right conditions, it may be an option to be considered. We will review this process at the December Elementary Leadership Team.
Have a fantastic week! Grateful for your leadership and influence.
