KEEP YOUR EARS OPENED! DO NOT OVERWHELM OR UNDERWHELM, speak with humor, humility, and authority!
Listen closely as your new IC will let you know what they are thinking.
SIMPLE SIMPLE SIMPLE
MUST KEEP EVERYTHING SIMPLE AND DUPLICATABLE, A CONFUSED MIND DOES NOTHING!
DAY 1
1. BECOMING A BRAND AMBASSADOR, ARBONNIZING AND STARTING A BUSINESS:
ALWAYS be with your new IC (phone, zoom, in person) when they are signing up. Use this as a training opportunity. It’s your job to show them the best way to get started to build a solid business. ALWAYS recommend the 30 DTHL, a skin line, your favorite other products, and discuss products for everyone in their household. Work with all budgets. If new IC expresses concern over budget, comfort them by letting them know that you want to use this as an opportunity to teach them the best way to shop and get the biggest discount but assure them that you will work within their budget and that you can revamp their order before it is complete.
2. CONGRATULATE and celebrate the second that submit button is pressed!
Remind them that we all start in the same place, need to be great students to become great mentors. Remind them you will be by their side until they are ready.
3. SCHEDULE getting started training within the next 24-48 hours.
4. PREPARE FOR OBJECTIONS:
ENCOURAGE THEM TO WAIT to speak with anyone until you complete the getting started training as they will be learning valuable language to help navigate. However, we all know our new IC will want to tell the world about their new business, thus, with humor prepare them for objections and give them the 10 second commercial language found below! Tell them a personal story about how someone thought you were crazy for starting this business and remind them starting your own business takes COURAGE. For example: they may hear… Yeah Arbonne, What’s Arbonne, Why Arbonne, I love Arbonne, Oh no not Arbonne…It is absolutely critical that you discuss the primary objections before hanging up.

THEN ENCOURAGE THEM AGAIN, TO WAIT UNTIL YOU FINISH YOUR GETTING STARTED TRAINING.
FOR INITIAL BUSINESS LAUNCHES:
5. SOCIAL MEDIA: Ask if they are SM savvy. If you hear even the tiniest of fear around SM do not say another thing about it, you can circle back to this later. If they are SM savvy then you want to discuss a“coming out” post on social media.
AGAIN, ENCOURAGE THEM TO WAIT BUT PREPARE THEM JUST IN CASE!
Social media is so important when it comes to building this business because it’s the world we all live in and have access to every day. People need to see your journey, your vulnerability, your courage and authenticity. If they are chomping at the bit include downloading the content kit as one of their calls to action and provide an idea:
A) I’m nervous but so excited about my new business…green, clean, vegan, and taking care of the planet, all the things that matter most!!!
B) Can’t believe it, so excited, here we go green, clean, cruelty free, and taking care of the planet! Started a business!!!!
CALLS TO ACTION: GIVE THEM HOMEWORK!
1. CREATE A CLEAR ‘WHY’ VISION: WHY they have started a business, why it is important, how it will impact their life. How will their life look different with a successful Arbonne business. Ask them to bring their ‘WHY’ to your getting started meeting. Provide 21 reason ‘why’ document. The number one reason should be something that really meaningful. List all the reasons why you’re doing the business, such as creating a college fund for your kids, saving for vacations, time freedom, a B plan, exit strategy, showing what’s possible. Whatever gets you the most excited.
2. CREATE 100-person connector list, EMPHASIZE NO prejudging, explain why, explain what a dream team is, explain that some may be interested in building a business and many more will be curious and interested in our gorgeous, clean, green brand. Use the names in their phone, fb, ig to create list.
DAY 2: THE TRAINING MEETING
ALWAYS ‘Listen with teaching ears when in training’
1. 3 IMPORTANT QUESTIONS:
a) What part of the business excited you the most, resonated with you and made you decide to join our team? Products? Which ones? Money -why? Trips- why? Community? Freedom- from what, for what? Knowing this will help us create a plan that fits your desires.
b) How many hours a week can you carve out of your schedule to dedicate to your Arbonne business? What’s the best coaching and connecting plan for you (text/call/email/combo?) How often?
c) Are you willing to be 100% coachable, and to follow our proven system to achieve your goals?
Before you answer the question, here’s what the system consists of. It is available to help you build your business and to give yourself the best opportunity to achieve your goals:
a) Team training calls, live and recorded –
b) Reading about the Network Marketing industry in general –
c) Attending DAs (Discover Arbonne meetings) – In person or on Skype/Zoom.
d) Getting “launched” ASAP (within the next 7-14 days) : inviting the people you know and care about to learn about your new business.
2. LAUNCHES: Confirm 2 launches dates: explain this will allow for a larger audience that will leverage their time.
3. GET ORGANIZED: treat is like a business and it will pay you like a business. The discipline and value of 1 hour a day. Set up a workspace for business/calendar/journal.
4. THE SOURCE: provide new IC a brief tutorial
5. 10 SECOND and 30 SECOND commercial always leading with the business.
a. I teach people how to build global virtual businesses, from their phone, in the sustainable, green, clean, personal care and nutrition space. I might add.
b. I own an online global virtual business in the green, vegan, personal care and nutrition space with a 40 year old sustainably sourced brand that rocks my ship
c. I’m so excited I just a started a business with a brand that aligns with everything that is so important to everybody in the green, vegan, clean space.
d. I just opened an international online store in the green, clean, personal care and nutrition space and I’m teaching people how to do the same! SOOO EXCITED!!!

6. A GOAL IS A DREAM WITH A DEADLINE: Discuss DREAMING BIG and set three sets of goals: 1st goal, you help new IC with first goal. You want to show them how to get to first level of mgt and receive a pay raise, 2nd goal 12-18 months, 3rd goal 5 years. Write them down as if completed. Congratulations you did it! Date them and sign them. Place somewhere they can be seen every day.
7. IGNORANCE ON FIRE IS BETTER THAN KNOWLEDGE ON ICE! Assure them they will learn as they go.
8. PATIENCE IS SOMETIMES THE GREATEST VIRTUE: Discuss 5-12 touches

10. LAUNCH INVITE LANGUAGE AND PROCESS: Go over language invite and set time to connect in the next 3-4 days for launch plan update

The main points are to convey excitement about your new business, let the person know why you thought of them, and invite them to either come to an in person/Zoom/FB event.
PLEASE, if this is someone closish to you, voice or text and ask for a time you can talk that you have something important and exciting you want to run by them. If not so close then text or voice text something like the below:
