LaGrone Academy News

A Note from Principal Bourland
Can you believe it! We are already in the countdown for the last 9-Weeks! The excitement is building as we prepare for our first graduation. Your kids are amazing, and we are so grateful for your commitment to joining the LaGrone Academy family. I am encouraged to see that smiles and laughter are a common experience in our classrooms and hallways. Education should be a great place for learning AND for joy. Students, parents, community members and staff all contribute to make this an amazing school.
Students: this is the time of year that we can get weary. Hang in there! The rollercoaster to the end speeds up now. Make sure you are staying on task to see it through.
Parents: I am a parent of a teenager, so I know that you are weary too. Please keep encouraging your students and using HAC to check on grades. Our incredible teachers have weathered the educational storms and continue to apply their passion and love for students through it all. Consider sending words of praise to your child's teachers; I know it would be greatly appreciated.
Please know that YOU help to make LaGrone Academy an amazing place to be each and every day. In the words of our students who make our daily announcements: "Remember, at LaGrone you are loved!"
Parking has Changed as We are Growing!
Parking has changed! All students are required to park at CH Collins. Most students already park there as parking is limited close to the building. All spaces adjacent to LaGrone Academy are for handicapped, staff and/or visitors, and a permit will be required.
