Ngaere School
Living and Learning with Respect
Wednesday 26th September
A reminder that the first two days back next term are dedicated to Pet Day Arts & Craft. Children's exhibits will be created at school and judged on Tuesday afternoon. Calendar Art will be on display in classrooms on Wednesday for you to order.
Judging for pets begins at 9.30am on Wednesday. Lamb judging is at 10am. Children are to arrive with their pets and must collect their entry tag from the paved area. Please use common sense with pets - if a dog doesn't like crowds, perhaps a good idea not to bring it; cats must be in cages; lambs will need milk; no washing of lambs.
We have had a poor response to requests for items for the grocery raffle this year. If you are able to contribute please send along grocery items by Friday, otherwise we may have to rethink the raffle idea! A plastic bag and plate will be sent home with each family on the first day back at school for contributions to the cake stall.
Please help our PTA fundraising efforts. All the money raised at Pet Day and our Gala goes back into school. It is all spent on your children!
