Columbia's democracy votes for the president like the US. The columbian government is independent but devided into 32 states. The presidentail party is the largest party called the "u" party

Columbians value honesty, loyalty, a good sense of humor, and education. So you might as well have a good laugh while you're there. These people are rich and diverse, and very resourceful. Columbians are also very expressive (usually with hands) and speak spanish with some other ethnic languages. When you meet a columbian they will greet you with a friendly kiss on the cheek and a handshake. These hard-working people love visitors!

- Shakira - Singer - Sharkira has a unique talent as a singer/ songwriter/ producer. She wrote her first song at the age of 8. she had produced her first album by the age of 13 turning away from her modeling career.
- Gabriel Garcia Marquez - Author - Gabriel won the Nobel Prize in literature in 1982. He followed in the footsteps of an American author, William Faulkner. some of his famous novels are One Hundred Years of Solitude (1967), The Autumn of the Patriarch (1975), and Love in the Time of Cholera (1985).
- Carlos Valderrama - soccer player - Carlos's MLS career began when he joined Tampa Bay Mutiny when the league began in 1996. He was named Most Valuable Player when he had gotten 17 assists and "found the back of the net 4 times". Carlos Valderrama is "currently second all-time in MLS assists with 114".
- Sofia Vergara - actress - Sofia starred in the Tyler Perry films Meet the Browns (2008) and Madea Goes to Jail (2009). She is currently playing Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on ABC's Modern Family that premiered in 2009. She became known as a film actress in the early 2000's. She was awarded an Emmy for "outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series".
- John Leguizamo - Film Actor, Television Actor, Comedian - John 'spent mid- to late- 1980's preforming in comedy clubs". He first filmed in Casualties of War (1989). He soon got offered other film roles following in "quick succession". He turned to live theater because he was often frustrated with the roles offered to him that involved drug dealers or thugs.
