November News
Hoosier Indy - November 2020
A Note From Your Principal
Well, we have made it to Thanksgiving break. We had a great first few days back in the building with our fourth grade! The kids did great with wearing their masks, washing their hands and using hand sanitizer throughout the day! I am so proud of them! We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we work through these changes!
Some of you may be aware that our school board met Tuesday, November 17, 2020, and due to the Marion County Health Department's mandate that all schools that serve grades K-12 must return to virtual learning no later than November 30, 2020, Hoosier Academy - Indianapolis will return to virtual learning immediately.
That means the fourth graders who have been to the building the past two weeks will remain learning remotely and the group of third graders who were set to return on Monday November 23, 2020 will continue to learn remotely as well. This virtual learning for all grades (K-8) will continue through January 15, 2021.
There will be no access to the building until that time. As we near the return date we will send additional information on returning to the building. If you have additional questions, please feel free to let me know!
The next school board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 6 p.m.
Mrs. Randi Tolentino, Hoosier Indy Principal
