By observing Mental Health Awareness Month, we take action to help others

by fighting stigma, providing support, educating the public and advocating for equal care.

so we can break down obstacles and improve recovery.

PPK8 families must complete the 'Returning Student Registration' process during the 2 week window of opportunity.

We will begin the process on Tuesday May 9th, 2023.

Failure to complete registration for the 23-24 school year will prevent families from receiving communication from Franklin Academy and bus transportation requests may not be authorized for the coming year.

Monday May 15th, 2023, is an early release day for all students. Elementary students will begin their dismissal at 11:15am and MYP at 12:15pm.

Due to mandatory staff training, our offices will not be available for in-person and telephone assistance after 12:45pm.

PPK8 students are expected to return their 'checked out' books before the end of the school year and before Summber Break begins to avoid late/replacement fees for items not returned.

Q4 clubs end on Friday May 26th, 2023. There will be a make-up day on Thursday June 1st, 2023, due to the cancelation of clubs on Thursday April 27th, 2023, due to the conflict with Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day event.

On Monday May 29th, 2023, there is NO SCHOOL for students and our offices will be closed, in observance of Memorial Day. Classes resume on Tuesday May 30th, 2023.

Students who purchased a Top Franklin Spirit Stick are eligible to 'dress down' appropriately on Tuesday, May 30th, 2023.

Eligible Grade 5 students will be going on a field trip to Magic Kingdom on Friday May 26th, 2023!

Also on that day, eligible MYP students will be taking a field trip to Tiger Tail Lake!

Franklin Academy's first Summer Academy has registered all eligible students in grades K-7/MYP Y2 and will begin on Wednesday June 14th, 2023. The program will end on Friday July 14th, 2023. Registered students will attend from 8:00am until 12:00pm, Monday through Friday, at our Pembroke Pines K-8 campus. Students will be working hard to master grade level standards, as well as eligible MYP students enrolled in course recovery. A parent information session will be held on Thursday, May 11th, at 6:00 pm for all families involved. It is mandatory for the parent/guardian of registered students to attend.
