WT Page Principal's Message
Good Evening Page Families,
If you were unable to attend Back to School Night (BTSN) or would like to review the information, all the grade level slides are now located on the WT Page website. Also at this point of the school year it is important that all families are signed-up for ClassDojo. All grade levels use ClassDojo to send out important messages, weekly grade level newsletters, and weekly homework assignments. If you have a question for a teacher or staff member please use the Messages feature on ClassDojo and not the Comments feature under Class Story. Staff members are ONLY notified when families use the Messages feature. If you have messaged a staff member and they have not responded after several days please email or ClassDojo - Ms. Brown administrator for PK, K, 1st and 5th grades or Mrs. Dean administrator for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. You can also call the main office at 240-740-7560 and speak with the administrative secretary, Mrs. Milosavljevic (Mrs. M). If you need support with ClassDojo -- please contact - Mrs. Lauren Crooke, media specialist - Lauren_G_Crooke@mcpsmd.org
October also means that we have made it past the halfway mark of the 1st quarter. MCPS required teachers to submit student grades by 9/28/23, so Interims would be available for ParentVue on 10/5/23. Currently we have 88% of parents signed up on ParentVue. If you need support signing up for ParentVue visit the MCPS website page - TECHNOLOGY INFORMATION AND SUPPORT FOR PARENTS. I am also including the link. https://www2.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/parents/tech-info-support. If you need additional support please email our Parent Community Coordinator (PCC) Mrs. Gilchrist @ Jade_L_Gilchrist@mcpsmd.org.
BIG NEWS - We are scheduled to move into the addition on October 9th. This is a MCPS Professional Day for staff, there are no students on this day. We will keep families updated on the Grand Opening date -- we are so excited!!
Mrs. Dean and I are looking forward to seeing you this week.
Have a great rest of your weekend!
Ms. Brown
Principal

MCPS Personal Body Safety Lesson Begin October 2023 - January 2024
Dear Page Families,
Montgomery County Public Schools is taking an active role in the prevention of child abuse and neglect through early prevention intervention education.
Beginning the week of October 2, 2023 through January, 2024 our school counselors, Ms. Palmer and Mr. Floyd will be presenting age appropriate lessons on the topic of child abuse and neglect. The lessons, known as Personal Body Safety Lessons, have been taught at Page for several years now. Their purpose is to help students:
Develop knowledge, decision making skills, and behaviors which promote safe living in the home, school, and community;
Learn skills for self-protection and identifying child abuse and neglect;
Learn skills for asking for help for self and others and practice reporting to a trusted adult; and
Engage in positive and appropriate interactions with peers and adults.
For more information on grade level lesson objectives visit the MCPS website page -
