TCSS Students Shine During MLK Commemorative Celebration
Callaway High School AV/Film Department Launches New Digs
Recently, students and parents toured the new AV/Film Department at Callaway High. Equipped with state-of-the-art industry equipment, DeMarquis Cobb, AV/Film Instructor, was proud to see everyone embrace the idea of updating the lab.
He said, “AV/Film is a new wave for students to choose as a career. Georgia is the new capital for filming and the industry is producing a lot of films that have Georgia locations. Right now, they have to reach outside of the state to fill those positions. This pathway gives our students, and the industry, the opportunity to fill those positions with people who are from the area.”

It is said that Troup County School System doesn't have a quality arts program. The inaugural Arts & Appetizers gallery opening is sure to debunk this myth as we host students who have a passion for the visual arts. The theme for the event is Your Art, Your Story.
You are invited to join us as we celebrate the stories, creativity, and talent of our TCSS students.
