Welcome back future Spartans hope you enjoyed your long weekend! Today is Tuesday, May 30th, it is an “E” day.
We have a celebration. We had 2 students break school records in track and field this year. Parnell Preston in the discus and Ellie Kellenbach in the 800M run. Give these 2 some high fives today.
All tracksters: please bring your shirts to room 186 today!
All students, you should have already turned in your library books, if you still have one please get it to the library right away. Our overdue count is now at 112. Please check your school gmail account to see if you have any overdue books to return.
PLD turn in is tomorrow, make sure you bring it to school along with the charging cord and bag.
Creative writing will meet today.
It’s Mental Health Awareness Month.
"Set a goal that makes you want to jump out of bed in the morning." This week's mental health challenge: Think about how you spend your time. If you find yourself in toxic spaces, figure out a way that you can make a positive change. Ask for help if you need it.
Voting for the Mental Health Poster Contest will be today! Please remember to vote for your favorite poster. Each poster will be numbered. Please use the post-its nearby to cast your vote in the GREEN box near the hanging posters. Staff and students are encouraged to participate; everyone gets ONE vote. Winner will be announced on Thursday!
You asked and we listened. Since so many students wanted to dance, again…Auntie and Jae will be offering her dance fitness class again, to end Mental Health Awareness Month. This time it will be after school in the cafeteria on Wednesday, May, 31st @ 4 pm. Please sign up (only 40 spots) at the green tables outside of the cafeteria. Please wear athletic shoes and come to have a good time!
