- Every student will need working headphones. The STAAR assessment is electronic this year. Your child will need headphones that are compfortable because they will be wearing them for four hours for three different days (math, reading, and science). It is very important that your child can hear directions loudly enough, so please check them in advance.
- Student Computers need to be FULLY CHARGED! More and more students are coming to school with computers dieing within the first few hours of school. This tool is very important for instruction and it is vital that they are recharged every evening. Please ensure that your child is keeping up with their responsibility.

The district has a google site with videos that show how to use the online tools. These were introduced to students before they took IA#1, but can be accessed here for review.
The application deadline for the 2023-2024 AVID elective class is February 22, 2023.

Small Group Reading:
5.4C use appropriate fluency (rate, accuracy, and prosody) when reading grade-level text.

Grammar:

Social Studies
