Student Parking Passes
Steps to obtain a parking pass for IHS for the new 2022 - 2023 school year:
Possess a state issued driver's license.
Complete the required safety class, Alive at 25. This is a four-hour class and only needs to be completed once during a student's high school tenure. Follow the Alive at 25 link to sign up for the class. The cost of the course is $40. No other class may serve as a substitute for this safety class.
Fill out the application for parking on campus for the 2022-2023 school year using this link: IHS Student Parking Application. This Google form must be completed in its entirety.
Pay for the 2022-2023 Parking Pass. Once a parking application/agreement has been submitted, we will do our best to have the $50.00 parking fee in Rycor by the following day. Follow the Student Quick Pay to pay online with a credit card. Cash, check, and credit card payments can also be made with the bookkeeper in the IHS Main Office. You may pick up your pass from the Irmo High School Main Office.
ALL outstanding debt on the student's school account must be paid in order for a parking pass to be issued.
If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Debra Carlsen, dcarlsen@lexrich5.org, 803.476.3195.
Families and community members who wish to donate can drop off school supplies to the IHS Main Office!

What you might not know: I love being outside and just about every sport. I was very fortunate in college and got to spend my summers working at James Island County Park in Charleston, SC where I led groups of students in various outdoor activities like mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, and rock climbing.
What makes IHS special to me: What I love most about Irmo is how I feel when I walk though the door. The faculty and staff are always smiling and willing to help. Everyone at Irmo is there for a common goal, to help children be successful, and it shows in every area of the school... the hallways, the cafeteria, the gymnasium, the office, and with our very hardworking custodial staff. I am forever grateful to be a part of this team.
In her own words: I believe that all children are capable of success, academically, behaviorally, and socially if they are provided the resources to acquire the skills necessary to do so. We just have to determine what they need, meet them where they are and then be kind because we don't know their whole story.
