Celebrations and Thank Yous
Dismissal efficiency is steadily increasing. We have cut 20+ minutes off of car rider line and bus dismissal! Thank you for your help with this!
Important Car Rider Line Information
Car Rider line - please stay in the right lane until the line splits at the sign.
Leave the left lane open so that parents who are parking can access the parking lot.
Please wait until you reach this sign before going into the left lane of the car rider line.
More Arrival/Dismissal Information
- Drop off and car riders - per the picture on the right, please pull all the way up into each marked spot. This allows us to load and unload more students at a time, which makes the line move faster.
- Car rider pick up line - It would be very helpful if children can buckle their seat belt independently. You are welcome to pull past the crosswalk and stop by the curb if you need to assist them. That way, the line can keep moving, which lessens the time that children are sitting out in the heat.
- Keep it the Same: The more consistent you can be with how your child goes home, the better! Repeated changes in how a child goes home gets confusing for all the adults helping with dismissal. We are dismissing over 1,000 students, so consistency is key!
- Bus Riders: Please tell your child that they must wear their seat belts on the bus.
- Did you know?: Our busses have air conditioning and seat belts. If your child rides the bus, then you do not have wait in line to pick up your child.
- Gift of Time: We are not going to count tardies for this week. I think parents need just a little more time to get into a routine, and a little less stress.
