KTES Fun Run Fundraiser!
Now that the Fun Run is over, we’ve calculated that Kings Town has a PLEDGED PROFIT of $35,608.18 (pending 100% collection)! THAT IS AMAZING and doesn't even include our FMVA event yet! Way to go Knight families!
We know that many of you were disappointed that parents were unable to attend the event. We have put together a video so that you are able to get a glimpse of the exciting event. A few disclaimers:
- Students and Staff wore their masks for as long as they were able to considering the heat and the exercise.
- When masks were removed, individuals were never closely together for prolonged periods of time.
- Student and staff safety was and continues to be a priority.
- Please DO NOT share this video on social media. It is for the viewing pleasure of our KTES families only.
- If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact me: youngj@fortmillschools.org

Because we exceeded our fundraising goal, the administration was pied in the face AND slimed! Enjoy the video below. P. S. It was very chunky and did not taste great! LOL!

KTES is No Place for Hate!
No Place for Hate Pledge Signing & Unity Day - Wednesday, October 21
We are excited to celebrate Unity Day on Wednesday, October 21! Unity Day will be our first No Place for Hate activity of the school year. The No Place for Hate Coalition, a passionate group of KTES teachers, staff, and parents, has planned the following to make both the No Place for Hate Pledge Signing and Unity Day a success!
· Each homeroom will discuss the No Place for Hate Promises and create a NPFH Pledge poster during morning meetings 10/14-10/21
· Unity Day Link Project - Students, teachers & staff members, and KTES families will receive an orange link. On the link, everyone will write one way they can make our school a safe, supportive place for ALL students. All chains will be collected to create displays of UNITY in our building. Families, you will also receive an orange link in Wednesday folders on October 14 that you can complete and return before Unity Day so that your family link can be included on the Unity chain. On this link you will write what you will do as a family to help make our school a safe, supportive place for ALL students. Virtual students and their families can share their responses to the Unity Day prompt via Flipgrid in lieu of a physical link.
Unity Day, Wednesday 21 - Students and staff are asked to wear ORANGE on Unity Day to show that we as a KTES family stand together against bullying and that we are united for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.
