AVID at OMS
Some of you have been hearing the word AVID flying around here at OMS! AVID stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination. We believe all kids can go to college or have some sort of post-secondary education and we are determined to get them ready for success here at OMS. We have an elective for 8th grade students this year and we are using school-wide strategies on Focused Note Taking for everyone. We are so excited to be a part of the AVID movement.
