Reasons Why You Can’t Meditate
The sad truth about meditation is the fact that many individuals know the benefits of it while few people actually have a regular meditation. There are lots of struggles and obstacles to overcome distraction and corporate your mind to meditation. Through meditation, it brings you the inner peace where you can enjoy life. It releases the negativity and gets rid of stress keeping you energize.
Time
· One of the obvious obstacles why many people who know meditation are struggling from meditating is because they don’t have the spare time to do so. There are so many people these days who can’t meditate because there are so many things to do within a day.
· Yet, there are ways on how to apply meditation without taking any time out. You can incorporate your meditation through your daily activities such as eating, walking showering, and even brushing your teeth.
How Come?
· When doing these activities such as walking, notice your breathing. As you empty your mind, feel the aliveness while you are walking. You can meditate seeing trees, birds and all the pieces of stuff that surround you. If you are walking with your dog, you can meditate while petting him.
· All you have to do is to focus on how your touch his fur and notice the softness. Be completely present when doing this and bear in mind your breathing.
Lack Of Discipline
· Another obvious reason why people can’t meditate is because they are lack of discipline. Some people may prefer to watch television or check their social media account rather than meditating.
· Guided Buddhist meditation requires discipline in order to achieve the answers that you are searching for such as “what is your purpose in life”. If you lack discipline and you prioritize your earthly pleasure, you cannot find the answer.
