A family learning more about epilepsy and their support
Syreeta Middlebrooks from Atlanta, GA had an experience that has changed her family's life. Her son, Brenden, had his first seizure on Christmas Eve 2015 at the age of three. He was diagnosed with epilepsy on February 17, 2016. She got involved with the Angels Of Epilepsy Foundation in Atlanta to get more educational information, advice, and how she can help with the awareness. She came up with such a creative idea with jewelry. Some of the jewelry she creates is the color purple and it includes purple ribbons for epilepsy awareness. She is such a brave mother for her son and she takes one day at a time to be strong for Brenden who is such a champion as he battles with epilepsy. Syreeta states, "We're still praying, fighting, & just living life to the fullest."
