Principal's Message
Good afternoon BarbierI Families,
I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday weekend! We made it through the first few days of school and our first school fire drill in the first three days of school! Amazing how quickly everything is happening! Our first fire drill took place on Thursday, during the second hour of the day which was the first day of school for Kindergarteners! They did a FANTASTIC job! You would have thought they all had a chance to practice! Job well done to all of our littlest hawks and Kindergarten teachers and aides!
I want to take a moment to thank all of our families who drop off. There was a drastic change on Thursday and Friday from what we experienced on first day. Thank you for all for doing your job in ensuring a smooth san safe arrival for all staff and students. Please continue to follow the guidance shared in the previous family bulletin. I have linked it here for your convenience.
Thank you all for making the first few days, GREAT first days! Looking forward to the week ahead!
Nos vemos mañana,
Maria

Fall Scholastic Book Fair

The Scholastic Book Fair will be held Monday, September 19th- Friday, September 23rd.
There will be a schedule sent soon to teachers to ensure all classes sign up to visit the fair during the school day. The Book Fair will be in the main lobby. On Thursday, September 22nd, the Book Fair will remain open in the evening hours during our Barbieri Family Picnic Night! Please read below for details.
If you have any questions, please fill free to reach out to Tiffanie Maskell at dtmaskell@yahoo.com.
NEW Barbieri School Bistro
Barbieri Bistro Reopening EXTRAVANGANZA!
Last Friday we hosted our grand reopening and welcomed all students, K-5, with music, a trivia game regarding bistro expectations, a fun video reviewing expectations with administrators and staff during morning meeting, and fun prizes! We received many requests to have music in the bistro every Friday! We think that's a great idea!
