Mrs. Rubeo's 5th Grade Math Class In Action

After learning how to add and subtract fractions, Mrs. Rubeo’s math class created a game for a math carnival. The catch was the points the players earn at the game have to be in fractions. To win the game a player must earn at least 10 points. The students spent several days planning their booths. This week they have been busy creating the games for their carnival at the end of the week.

No Place For Hate

In the next few weeks your child’s teacher will be sharing Linden’s first No Place for Hate lesson of the year. During the lesson, students will identify what makes them special and unique and will discuss how we are each different, and those differences are to be respected and celebrated! The No Place for Hate student committee did a wonderful job helping with the lesson, and they created a read aloud video of the book Oddbird by Derek Desierto. We hope you enjoy!

Holiday Giving Tree - Last Week to Donate

Please consider helping Linden Families in Need this Holiday Season!

Every year during the holidays, our community has generously supported Linden Families in Need.

This year, any families or staff that are interested in helping can do so by donating cash, check (made out to Linden Elementary) or gift cards.

Our hope is to provide families in need with gift cards to purchase food and gifts to make their holiday special.

This is a wonderful way to show compassion, caring and kindness to others.

Help us bring a smile to members of our Linden Community by donating this year!
