Geography of Wales
Wales (Welsh: Cymru) is a generally mountainous country which is part of the United Kingdom. It is situated on the western side of central southern Great Britain, between the Irish Sea to the north and the Bristol Channel to the south. It is bordered by England to its east and the Atlantic Ocean, St George's Channel and Irish Sea to its west.
Glasgow is the largest city in Scotland, and the third largest in the United Kingdom (after London and Birmingham). Historically part of Lanark shire, it is situated on the River Clyde in the country's West Central Lowlands. Inhabitants of the city are referred to as Glaswegians.
