Core Value Spotlight: Service

Our campus wishes to exemplify our four core values on a regular basis. Our core values are: Adaptablity, Solution-Focused, Persistence and Service

In December, members of the Kindness and Compassion club lead the way with service for our community. The special group included 13 students, 5 adult sponsors, one middle school sponsor and Mrs. Burrell-PSA KC Club Sponsor. The members were able to adopt 2 Angels from the LEISD Angel Tree! The students really enjoyed shopping for the Angels. After the collection of Angel gifts, they walked to the Stonebriar Mall to enjoy club fellowship as well. Everyone really enjoyed the mix of service and club bonding during this special December evening. We are extremely thankful to all our parents who donated monies and chaperoned for this special event.

Lobo Loot Item Donations

We have made it a priority to recognize good behavior among our learners. Learners earn "lobo loot" for following school wide norms and exhibiting exceptional character on a daily basis. Our students absolutely love visiting the Lobo Loot store each Wednesday during lunches to spend their earned loot.

To make this possible we would love if we could get the following items donated for our store. All donations may be sent to the office - please label items so we know they are for our lobo loot store.

We have special student requests for the following:

  • Mini rubix cubes
  • decks of playing cards
  • yo-yos
  • bouncy balls
  • hacky sacks
  • Small lego kits
  • Hot cheetos or Takis
  • Full size candy bars
  • Gummy worms
  • Ring pops
  • Gift cards to local business are welcome as well

If you wish to volunteer at at the shop please contact our PTA @ prestwickacademypta@gmail.com. We are extremely thankful for your generous support.
