Canyon Trahan got a RRE card from the Office Staff for being Responsible, Respectful, and Engaged!
Class of 2025
Cassie Tormanen got a RRE card from Cash for being Responsible, Respectful, and Engaged! She is consistently attentive in class, very respectful of everyone, and she did her work on Google classroom when she was home (very responsible)!
Class of 2026
James Butler got a RRE card from the cafeteria admin for being Responsible! James stepped up when others didn't, and you can always see him clearing other tables after lunch. You are appreciated!
Class of 2027
Eli Brewer got a RRE card from Mr. Suksdorf for being Respectful! Thanks for always having a positive attitude, and pushing yourself to do your best!

Drama Fall Production
Fall Production of "One Stop Light Town" is being presented by our amazing Drama Department
The show will run the following Nights starting at 7 pm in the Lair
- Nov.9th, 10th, and 11th
- Nov 16th, 17th, and 18th
- Tickets will go on sale beginning Oct. 30th.
Boys Golf - Congrats at Districts!
Jackson Hotchkiss took 8th, Russel Brown took 16th, and Caden Coplen took 17th at our District Golf tournament held at Heron Lakes Golf Course!

SOCK-TOBER
BGHS is collecting new socks in both children and adult sizes to support the Socktober initiative. Donations will benefit two local nonprofits that support children in foster care in partnership with TMG Cares. Our sock drive is running from October 2 through October 27. Students can turn in socks to Mrs. Blankenship in room B4.
Senior News
Hey Seniors!
It’s that time of the year to start thinking about senior pictures. Senior pictures are due December 2nd, so don’t wait until the last minute.
Plain/neutral background preferred
Full face view, facing forward
Clothing and jewelry must fit school dress code guidelines
No creative filters or photographic treatments
No weapons or hand signs of any kind
Minimum Resolution of 300 DPI
All pictures MUST be submitted via the link below
Yearbook is not accepting pictures that are printed, on a CD, on a thumb drive, or emailed
Grad Night Fundraisers
Grad Night Poinsettia and Wreath Sale
- The poinsettia and wreath will be from October 16-27
- Seniors can print the order form from by clicking here
- Poinsettias are in 6" pots and are $15.00.
- Wreaths are $25.00.
- Payment is due when the order is taken.
- Seniors must pick up their order at Captain Strong Primary School on Sunday, December 3rd from 1:00-5:00.
- Please make checks out to BGHS Grad Night and be sure to put the Senior's name on the memo line.

College and Career Center
Scholarship Workshop
Learn how to navigate local, regional, state and national scholarships. The College and Career Center is hosting a Scholarship Workshop during Tiger Time on Tuesday, October 24. All students are welcome to attend.

Battle Ground High School will be hosting a Post Secondary and College Fair
- Thursday, October 26, 8 - 10:15 i am in the East Gym.
- All students are invited to attend the fair.
- Students will be able to meet with local and regional colleges, apprenticeship programs, trade school and military representatives.
ASB News
- If athletes are told by their coach they are ineligible for games they can do a grade check with the ASB office beginning Monday, Oct 16th.
- Students pick up the grade check from the ASB office, take it to all their teachers for a grade and return it to the ASB office within 24 hours after it is checked out to them.
- If students pass with passing 5 out of 6 classes they are eligible until the 12 week grade check.
- If they fail, they have to wait 5 school days and then redo the grade check with the ASB office.
Winter sport sign ups are now happening.
- Athletes must register on FamilyID.com and submit their current sport physical.
- Sports available for winter are:
- Girls Bowling beginning Oct 30th
- Girls gymnastics beginning Nov. 6th
- Boys and Girls Wrestling Nov. 13th
- Basketball and Boys swimming Nov. 13th
- Specific try out times will be available soon.
Yearbook Sale
The 2023/2024 yearbook is now on sale. Yearbooks can be purchased at school in the ASB windows during school hours, 7:30 am to 3:00 pm. You can also order them through our school website. Yearbooks cost $55 with an ASB card and $60 without an ASB card. Get yours now and cherish your high school memories! Sale is on thru Oct. 31, 2023.

Monday, Oct. 30-Friday, Nov. 3 - Parent/teacher conferences. School will start at the regular M/T/Th/F time on Wednesday, Nov. 1. There will be NO one-hour late start that week.
Three-hour early release schedule is as follows:Grades K-4: Monday through Friday
