Lawrence Brook Weekly Update

Learn about the exciting news and events happening at LB!

October 31, 2022

Dear Lawrence Brook Elementary School Families:

Thank you to the LBS PTA and all of the volunteers and attendees who made our Trunk or Treat such a phenomenal success last Wednesday. Students had so much fun visiting each creatively decorated trunk. It was a night full of fun for all attendees. The excitement continues today with our Halloween Parade and Class Parties.

The weather forecast looks to be in our favor today, but please note that, if it is too rainy to hold the parade outdoors, students will parade indoors. If the parade takes place indoors, families will not be able to attend, but we will be sure to send photos home. If we do need to switch the parade to indoors, our Main Office will send both a text and an email. If you don't hear from us, then the parade is on as scheduled for 2:00 PM today. Please be sure to review the important details in the "Halloween Parade and Class Party Information" letter linked below.

Please note, it is very important that the Main Office knows as early as possible if your child is going home a different way than usual (example: parent pick up instead of bus or ASK). If you have not done so already, please email or call Mrs. LaPenta at or 732-613-6871 if there is a change to dismissal for your family today.

This Tuesday through Friday, Parent Teacher Conferences begin, offering an important opportunity to learn about your child's progress in school. If you have not scheduled a conference but wish to participate, please call the Main Office.

Have a wonderful week, Lawrence Brook community!
