THE BOOK FAIR IS HAPPENING!

The Scholastic Book Fair started yesterday in the library and will continue through next week. Each reading class will have the opportunity to visit the library this week or early next week to preview the selection of products. Students can return during lunch periods to make their purchases later next week. Parents, you will have an opportunity to visit the Book Fair on Parent/ Teacher Conference Night this Thursday!

If there are any parents, grandparents, or friends who would like to volunteer during lunch periods (10:30-1:05) to help Ms. Mills in the library, she would really appreciate it! Please call the school and let us know you are able to volunteer!

The link below will allow students & parents to set up an e-wallet so their students can make purchases at the fair. There is also a great list of books and other items available on the website.

Don't miss your opportunity to visit the Fair!

A COOL THING HAPPENED IN CLASS...

Earlier this year, we showed pictures of Ms. Gantt's class planting seeds as part of their partnership with NASA to grow plants for the International Space Station. This week, the Journal published an article about their efforts!

*Ms. Elm's 5th & 7th period classes celebrated PERFECT ATTENDANCE all week!

*Ms. Amavisca's art classes were VERY busy creating watercolor paintings and Tim Burton-style self-portraits.
