Reading Skills
Reading Knowledge
We are continuing to share during morning meetings. Our morning meeting is a time for the students to greet each other and share with their friends. Each student will have the opportunity to share. It can be something special to them or something they like. (please, no electronics) Please make sure it is something that can fit in their backpack. Please do not send in anything valuable that you or your child would be upset if it was lost. I will be sending out in their folders who will be sharing each day. One student will share each day. I will send home who shares for the week on Friday’s. Please be sure to check your child’s folder. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.

Notes from the teachers📝
Nurse recommendation: With the warmer weather, please send your child to school with proper footwear to prevent falls during recess and gym. Wearing flip flops, sandals, and crocs causes students to fall resulting in injuries and sprains, especially when falling on concrete.
Student iPads: Please be sure that you are charging your child's school iPad nightly and sending it back to school with your child. The children use them daily in class and it is important that they are prepared for learning.
- Here are a couple reminders: Please send in a water bottle and ONE small, healthy snack with your child each day. We do NOT provide snack due to allergies. Please make sure it is labeled with their names and packed separately from their lunch. A pencil bag or Ziploc bag is perfect for their snack.
- Bathroom accidents happen. Please remember to send a change of clothes to your child. Place them in a Ziploc bag with their name on it.
- Please email both teachers whenever you need to reach out. Please email Mrs. Nicholls while Mrs. Moody is out.
Absent request form is located below. Click on the red bar.

Spring Fling
On May 17th, our school will be hosting our traditional Spring Fling Night. We will have different activities for the whole family (more information to come). Every class has to make a themed basket which will be raffled at the end of the event. We need some donations to put our basket together. Please choose one or more items from the links below. Make sure to use the link for your child's class.
All donations will be due by Friday, May 10th (to allow time to assemble the basket)
Muchas gracias for your support.
Library
Library is on Fridays. We have students getting upset because they are not getting books. Please make sure your child returns the book so they can check out a new one.
Thanks for your support.
Dreambox, Amplify and Level Learning
SPIM Families,
Dreambox, Amplify and Level Learning are Apps that support what students are leaning in the classroom. The expectation is for students to do at least 15 minutes everyday. Please make sure your child is completing the lessons independently so they can have activities according to their level.
To access the Apps you don't need any password or code, just do it directly through Classlink.
Thanks in advance for supporting your child's learning.

2024 Referendum
Dear families,
As you know there is an upcoming referendum and it is important that all families in our district are informed about the changes and impact this election has in our school district.
Please use the link bellow for more details.
Birthdays
Families,
We are excited to celebrate your child's birthday in school! We love celebrating our birthdays in Kindergarten! It is the only place where teachers are younger than they really are!! LOL! I think I will be 30 forever!!
In school, we will sing happy birthday. Your child will get a birthday crown and sit in a birthday chair. They will also get to pick a prize out of our birthday box. We can not celebrate with food in school due to allergies. If you would like to send in goodie bags, please make sure there is NO food or candy in them. You can put pencils, erasers, and trinkets if you like. If you have invitations, please put them in your child's folder and we will put them in the other children's folders for you. There are 22 children in each class. We hope this helps with the birthday celebrations! If you have any questions...just ask.
