8th Grade Farewell Notes...
Autumn Harris
Everyday that I would walk into band (first period) last year, Mr. Arizzi would hit me with a stack of papers that he had in his hand or he would hit me in the arm as he walked by.
Alex Kantowski
My favorite part of cms was visiting Ms.LiL after school she aways makes me laugh or smile and is so kind.
Delilah Starkey
My favorite memory from middle school was either the first or second day, I can’t remember, but my english teacher Ms. G (Ms. Graupner) was reading us a children’s book. The book was about not fitting in. After reading the book, Ms. G told us about how she was like an outcast in school for being British and she cried. After that, our class wouldn’t let her hear the end of it. Every time we bring it up she denies it and refuses to believe that she ever cried during class.
Isabel Bartkus
On the choir bus back home from six flags my friend asked Mrs. Gorski if Mrs. Debris would be attending tour with us, after a few minutes of talking about it, someone who was sitting a seat behind us asked the same question as before, to which Mrs. Gorski goes “can u hear? Can you smell?”Referring to if she could use multiple of her senses at once because her excuse had been that she hadn’t heard because she was talking, and the student goes “sure” “ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOP” obviously the would choir bus started laughing because the student thought that Mrs. Gorski had said spell instead of smell.

The basketball game with students vs teacher and the school dance

My favorite memory at CMS is from last year. My basketball team won conference and was the first girls team to go undefeated two years in a row. I loved the bus ride home after winning, and we even got in a newspaper for being the first girls team to win. It was an amazing feeling and the trophy we all earned is still in the case, and one of the biggest ones! Although we could not carry it on to 8th grade, it was a historical moment for us; hopefully we can get recognized in high school like we did these past 2 years.

One of my favorite memories from my time here at CMS was when the teachers vs. students basketball game happened. That day was so hilarious to me. I got to watch my teachers and my fellow students play each other (and I got to miss some classes).
Elizabeth Tatone
I had a feast with my friends at lunch.

My favorite memory I have had here was joining the cheer team and meeting new people. I have made so many friends these past two years and I wouldn’t change that for anything. CMS has been such a big impact on my life and I will always remember my 7th and 8th grade years here.
Presley Rhyne
To be honest this year at CMS has been the most successful I have ever had. Being a new student here just barely getting the hang of things, it surprises me how much I had accomplished. But memories that I remember the most here would be the extra curricular activities, like Jazz band and Drama club. But out of both I really enjoyed Jazz band, and I do wish to continue it. My memories from it consist of all the fun music we would play, my improv solo that I was so nervous about, and all of the new techniques that I learned. Truly these activities I was worried about at first but once actually getting out there and doing them was great. And a note to anyone reading this, if you are thinking about doing something, it doesn’t hurt to try!
Tiara Wilkerson
Choir Class was such a memorable and an amazing experience. Ms. Gorski and my classmates always made choir a fun, intriguing, and very memorable learning experience. Everyday, Choir would make my day even better at CMS.
Ava Cunningham
When walking into your favorite class is the best feeling ever. My favorite class was choir with Miss. Gorski. I have always loved walking into music class back in elementary. In the intermediate school I did choir and it was so much fun. When I heard that there was a choir at the middle school I was so excited. 7th grade was a ruff year for me and my choir class made it a better. Now that I am in 8th grade, choir was 10 times more fun. I have had so many amazing opportunity’s. Such as going to six flags. That day was so much fun, in the morning we did our competition and it went good. Then we spend the whole rest of the day at six flags. After it was time for the awards ceremony. I didn’t think that we would place at all but, we got 1st place and best overall in our division. That was so crazy, the only bad thing from six flags is that I got a major sunburn. Another amazing opportunity was trying out for high school choir. I was so scared for it but, it wasn’t even that scary. My final thing is that I am actually going to miss this year. I have made so may new friends and done so much this year. I hope that next year in high school will be just as fun as this year.
Karleigh Pawlyszyn
My favorite memory is when all the students in the 8th grade band came back to school after winter/spring break and shared their stories.
Vincent Mueller
Doing the things I love with my friends, like Trojan gold. I get to do the things I love with my friends witch has become a huge family, and its all because of our teacher Mrs. Gorski, she has been a exquisite teacher and a role model. She taught me so much and i would be were I am in music without her. She’s done so much for all of us and I will never forget her.
Gianna Iovino
I’m glad that teachers like Mrs. White and Mrs. Daily were here at CMS, its not funny, but its true.
Zach Marchese
As you enter 8th grade you will have many obstacles in your way. This is coming from someone who got tripped up in these obstacles and my grades suffered in the first semester. You will learn a lot of things in this year and will be crucial in your life so take it seriously. Its your last year before high school so make it count. Have fun, make new memories, meet new friends, and be you. This year will be fun but you have to do the best you can do. Don't give up on yourself because no matter how hard a situation may seem, there is always a good outcome if you put in the work. Good luck and don't forget to have fun.
