Alex's Lemonade Stand

June 12, 2018

Saint Catharine School

Second Avenue

Spring Lake, NJ 07762

Dear SCS Families:

We would like to thank the entire Saint Catharine’s School Community for your support with your SCS Annual Alex's Lemonade Stand on June 7, 2018, in honor of our daughter, Bridget Rose Smith. However unfortunate, Bridget shares a common Neuroblastoma Childhood Cancer thread with Alexandra “Alex” Scott who started the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation at the age of 4. By the same token, Bridget also shares Alex’s vision of curing childhood cancer…one cup at a time.

Your prayers, support, encouragement and kindness have been instrumental with Bridget’s recovery. With overwhelming support, you were able to raise much needed money for childhood cancer research.

We are truly grateful to all and are blessed to be associated with the SCS Community.

Sincerely,

Margaret-Mary, Denis, Maeve, Stephen, Brendan, Caroline and Bridget Smith

Students will be asked to assist with special school events, open houses, etc.

Students are required to remain in good academic standing as well as model appropriate behavior that is expected of a St. Catharine student. Any student that acquires 5 demerits and/or two or more detentions will be excused from their service as a student ambassador until further notice.
