A Message to our Bears...

Primary Bears,


Tomorrow is the first day of school! We are super excited to welcome our Bears! Parents may walk children in the first day beginning at 7 am. The car line will run from 7:15-7:45. Either car line may be used for morning drop off. The tardy bell rings at 7:45.


Thursday, August 19, parents must use either car line for morning drop off- walk ups not allowed. Please see the video links below for an explanation of how to use the car line.


Please make sure your child's teacher knows how your child gets home each day. You must have the school issued car tag (purple) for pick up. Please leave it visible until your child is placed in the car. Our PREK/KInder pick up is gym side, and our 1st and 2nd grade pick up is the front of the school. Dual car riders always sit with the youngest sibling. (If you have a student walking over from intermediate, please avoid being at the front of the line or you will hold up traffic.) Our afternoon pick up is 3:10-3:30. The first few days are long, but it does get better!

If your little bear has medication for school, please try to bring it up to school today. The first day is hectic in the clinic, so we would like to help ease your stress by getting any medication figured out today!


Also, be sure your little bear has an extra set of clothes in their back pack to change in the event of an accident/spill.

Morning car line 7:15-7:45 am. Use the shortest line. Be ready to exit the car quickly. No parent walk ups allowed after the first day.


PM car line. 3:10-3:30 pm. PREK/Kinder on gym side and 1st/2nd at front of school. Dual car riders sit with youngest sibling. MUST HAVE SCHOOL ISSUED CAR TAG! If you have an intermediate student walking over, DO NOT get at the front of the line. You will block traffic.

Free Breakfast and Lunch for all!

Breakfast is served 7:15 - 7:40 daily




The USDA is offering free breakfast and lunch to all United States public school students this year. The Child Nutrition Department will not need any paperwork from families for this program offered by USDA. The program was established by the government as a benefit to all families, regardless of income, because of the pandemic. The students will all be allowed 1 breakfast meal and 1 lunch meal each day. This does not include extra items or a la carte items. The cafeteria staff will help ensure that the students know what they need to have to make a complete meal. Lunch with your Little Bear!

Parents/guardians are invited to eat lunch with their children, beginning September 7, 2021. We ask that you allow us to have the first two weeks of school to orient our students in cafeteria procedures. We want to be sure our students know where to sit, how to ask for help, where to move through the lunch line, etc. Beginning September 7th, parents wishing to eat with their child(ren) will sign in at the office and obtain a visitor badge. For safety, parents may eat with their child only. Our students will be utilizing all of the seats in the cafeteria; therefore, parent seating for lunch will be located at designated areas outside of the cafeteria, to include outdoor picnic tables. With our limited seating for parents, we ask that you keep this mind on inclement weather days. In accordance with FERPA (Family Education Rights and Privacy Act), videos and photographs of students other than your own are prohibited.

Lunch Drop Offs

Accepting lunches

Parents are welcome to drop off lunch for their children. There should only be one lunch per child. There is absolutely no dropping off, sharing or giving lunches to other students. Extra lunches will be returned to the parent or disposed of. Primary office will call the student to the office to pick up their lunch. Please label the lunch with your child's name.
