All Saints Episcopal School - September 15, 2014

Two of our three core values, COMMUNITY and SPIRITUALITY, collided in a powerful way last Friday, as we celebrated our inaugural 60th Anniversary event for the 2014-2015 school year. The day began with a special chapel service honoring founding and supporting families, and families with two or more generations of students at All Saints. We were blessed with the gift of two songs sung by our PK3, PK4 and Kindergarten students, then the entire school sang a blessing to our honored guests. Click on the links below to see videos of the songs. After chapel, guests made their way to the Memorial Garden for a brief service honoring the special Saints who have gone on before us. The morning concluded with a beautiful brunch in the Buddy Low Dining Facility, resplendent with historical photo albums and other meaningful decor. Today is INTERNATIONAL DOT DAY!!!! Have you seen dots appearing all over the All Saints campus? The mystery of the dot invasion was revealed today in a special chapel inspiring all of our students to make their mark on the world! Throughout this week, students will be creating "dots" in lots of different, creative ways, culminating in a Dot Exhibit to be displayed on campus within the next couple of weeks. This campus-wide endeavor is cross-curricular (Library, Art, World Geography, Math, etc.), incorporating the cornerstone elements of the 21st Century Classroom (Creativity, Collaboration, Communication, Critical Thinking), as well as encouraging our virtue of the month - KINDNESS!
