Every February, the collective GCISD Fine Arts Department celebrates the life of our former Director of Fine Arts, Dave Zahrndt through performance. This year, our Musical and our Spring Fling performances will be dedicated to “DZ” and his family. Please attend one or both of these performances and consider donating to his children’s scholarship fund! He was a wonderful man and is dearly missed.

Families that use GCISD owned instruments, you probably now see rental fees from the CHHS bookkeeper on your child’s Skyward account. This is part of our normal, yearly, rental process that ensures clean and working instruments.

You're invited to join the Disney 2023 “Group Me” for families to get information before and during the trip. We will also post FAQs there (for example - The Concert Band is combined with the Symphonic Band on the performance day!)...details are still coming together…check out the updated schedule…and stay tuned!
