The winner of this week's Leopard Spotlight Award is Jacklyn Simone! She does a great job as our LHS Majestics Dance Team Director and works behind the scenes to ensure many events go well at LHS. We really appreciate her dedication to our school and community. Please join us in congratulating her!

Student Sign-Out (Driver and Parent Pick Up)
If your student needs to leave campus for any reason, please send sign-out requests to LHSSignout@lovejoyisd.net. Your student will get a slip and be dismissed at the specified time. Please include the student's name, time they need to be dismissed, and any details we may need. We kindly ask that the requests are submitted as far in advance as possible.
Girls Soccer Open Roster Spots
LHS girls soccer has several open spots on their rosters for the upcoming season. Tryouts will be held Monday-Thursday, 11/28-12/1, from 3:45-5:00. If you are not in 8th period athletics you can meet us outside at the stadium field the week after Thanksgiving Break.
If you are interested in trying out or if you have any questions you can find Coach Keeble in room B230 or you can email him at email@example.com.
Boys Soccer Tryouts 2022-2023
Tryouts will be held Monday-Thursday, 11/28-12/1, from 7:00 a.m. -8:20 a.m. at the (LHS football fields or indoor facility). Make sure all the required paperwork is on file prior to the tryouts.

If you are a current athlete and your physical is up to date you are good.
If you are currently not participating in another sport and are not in the boys off season soccer class please complete the required paperwork. All athletes must be cleared in order to tryout.
9th grade All Region Band success!!
Please help us congratulate the following members for making the 9th grade all region band!! These students competed with all 5A and 6A programs in the entire region to earn a spot. They will perform with this "All-Star" band when we return from Holiday break in January. If you see a student listed as an alternate, there is a strong chance they will be moved into the band after the high school region audition!!

All State Jazz Ensemble
Please help us congratulate Davis Miller for earning a spot in the All State Jazz Ensemble. In the entire state of Texas, two Baritone Saxophone students are picked for All State and Davis is one of those two!! Davis will travel with other all state students from around the state to San Antonio in February to the Texas Music Educators Association and perform in concert with some of the best performers and clinicians from around the world. Congrats Davis!!
Lovejoy Robotics teams #1082C and #1082R
Lovejoy Robotics teams #1082C and #1082R competed this past Saturday and did AMAZING! #1082R won the highest award presented.. the Excellence Award- and they won Skills Champion! Both R and C ended as finalists after a tough championship match and #1082C won the Design Award, which is the highest award for a teams engineering notebook, team interview and overall engineering design process! #LovejoyProud
Leopard Fishing Club
Leopard Fishing had a GREAT day on the water this past weekend despite it being a cold one! The team placed 1st for overall TEAM weighing in over 30 lbs at Lake Ray Roberts. Congratulations to all our anglers that weighed in and to the 3 teams below that earned prizes placing in the top 34.
