A Message from Mrs. Brown
As we are now in the winter months, it's hard to believe that we are almost ending the first half of our school year. While it has not been easy adjusting to full in-person instruction during a pandemic, it has surely been worth it. With a new master schedule and innovative elective offerings, Spartan Nation is still on the path towards improvement. We do ask that you continue supporting us by checking in on your child's academic and social-emotional progress, remaining connected to their teachers and always providing us feedback as we work to make this the best schooling experience for you.
Spartan Nation, Spartan Pride...
Our students are engaged in an innovative elective with Culinary Club cooking at Faith United church in our community with Ms. Davey.
This is another innovative elective as our young ladies are engaged with Girl Scouts with Ms. King. They are exploring nature at a local park.
Our students were engaged in Fall activities for their Photography Class at Patterson Farm with Ms. Thorpe, Ms. Hawthorne and Ms. Ward. Outdoor learning at its BEST!!!

AVID is BACK!!!
Take a look at the pictures of the AVID tutorials hosted in Ms. Kings' AVID Classroom. Tutorials is a way for students to understand the essential learning taking place in any content area class and work through the inquiry based process of problem solving. She has gotten creative with the table top chart paper as a way to engage multiple students at once. In this class students learn organizational skills, work on reading and writing development and dive into inquiry based learning.
