Lion's Club Enrichment
Welcome!
Registration is open by season (fall, winter, spring & summer) and includes Monday-Thursday after-school classes, Friday after-school classes, music lessons, and more!
The goal of Lion’s Club Enrichment is to build a Christ-centered community for our students beyond the school day. When students are given the opportunity to connect with others who share common interests and hobbies, community and friendships will thrive!
Class Format
Monday-Thursday Classes:

Financial Peace University Jr.
For students in grades 2-8
Millions of people have used the lessons from Financial Peace University to manage their personal finances. Now your student can begin building a great financial future with the foundation of FPUs methods and best-practices. Each student will receive the Financial Peace Jr. kit and will learn the importance of great money management.

T-Ball Basics
For students in grades K-2
Join us on the diamond to learn the basics of baseball with the assistance of a Tee! Young athletes will practice hand-eye coordination, learn the order of the bases and have a ton of fun! All sports equipment will be provided.

LEGO Builders
For students in grades K-3
LEGOs are fun, but building LEGO creations with friends is SUPER FUN! Students will participate in LEGO building competitions and challenge each other to create everything from a new playground design to an entire cityscape! The best part is, there’s no chance you will be stepping on any of those painful little bricks at home!

Culinary Adventures
For students in All Grades
God has created so many amazing foods and we get to explore them all! What an adventure! Students will have fun making some delicious foods while learning kitchen safety, measuring, sorting, reading recipes, and other basic cooking skills.

Makers Club: Movement & Motion
For students in All Grades
Explore the world of movement and motion through these awesome STEM projects! Come complete Kiwi Co. projects with us! Kiwi Co. is an innovative company working to inspire youth to design, create, and engage their world through engineering, tinkering, and FUN! Students will work with their teacher to create the projects from some of Kiwi Co.’s most popular crates and bring home 3 completed projects from their time together.

Autumn Arts & Crafts
For students in All Grades
The leaves are changing, the air is feeling crisp and clear, it's Fall Y'all! Celebrate the changing of the season with creative fall craft projects, apple cider tasting, leaf painting and more.

Jr. Soccer Skills
For students in K-2nd Grade
Students will learn warm-up exercises, work on fundamental skills and then will scrimmage and play games. The emphasis is on having fun, developing and learning skills and embracing Christian character through team play.

Farm to Market Knitting
For students in Grades 3-8
This amazing class takes freshly sheered wool and follows the process all the way to making hand-spun yarn! We will look at the many different types of fibers available from plants and animals and discover what it takes to go from collecting the raw fibers to making finished garments. Additionally, students will learn the basics of knitting and make their very own drop spindle to spin wool into yarn.

Christmas Gift Making
For students in All Grades
Homemade gifts have such a special meaning for the person who receives them and kids have a blast making them by hand! Each student will make several gifts for their loved ones and even have a chance to wrap them before bringing them home. This is a great opportunity for your child to use their skills and creativity to bless others.

Makers Club: Christmas Edition
For students in All Grades
It's the most wonderful time of the year, and Kiwi Co has created some great STEM Kits to celebrate! Students will build and bring home 3 completed projects from their time in this class.

Bowling & Mini Golf
For students in Grades K-3
These two fun games are some all-time favorite classics! Week one of this class will focus on the game of golf with some skill building and mini golf course design. Week two will teach the students the fun-filled world of bowling and encourage friendly competition through strikes and spares!

Friday Classes
Sports & Fitness
For students in Grades K-5
Fun and Fitness should always go together. We will be learning and playing a variety of sports and also work on strength and stretching. We will cover soccer, football, basketball, volleyball, pickleball, tag, dodgeball, and more. The goal is for everyone to be active and have fun the entire time!

Science Explorers
For students in Grades K-3

Cultural Exploration: Germany
For students in Grades K-4
Lions Club's Cultural Exploration classes provide foreign language survey and discovery of the culture, traditions and celebrations of various countries. This holiday season we are exploring Germany's rich traditions surrounding our favorite holiday!

Holiday Baking
For students in All Grades
Oh what fun we will have baking holiday treats and decorating cookies while listening to Christmas Music. Each class will end with a Christmas story while we enjoy our treats! Students will have fun learning kitchen safety, measuring, sorting, reading recipes, and other basic baking techniques.

Basketball Skills
For students in Grades 2-5
Dribble, Shoot, Swish! Join Mrs. B on the court to develop the skills and knowledge of the game of Basketball. Have a blast challenging friends in 1-on-1 competitions, shooting challenges, around the world and pig!

Weekly Music Lessons
Beginning Piano
(Kindergarten will be added in the Winter Season)
In each piano/keyboard class students will learn to read and write music, learn to play numerous songs, experience ensemble playing, ear training, music theory, fun musical games, and rhythm and movement activities. Your children will love to come to piano lessons! Parents are welcomed to the last class of the session for a mini-recital to applaud your children's accomplishments!
Requirement: Students must have a keyboard or piano to practice on and be prepared to practice daily.

Honor Choir
NCA now has a place for your young singer to begin their choral journey! Honor Choir is for the 2nd-4th grader in your family who lives with a song in their heart. We want to nurture and inspire your student’s passion for singing!
This is an auditioned ensemble that meets every Friday for an hour of rehearsal, community building, and lots of music fun! We will have performance opportunities throughout the year to showcase what we have been working on. NCA has a strong tradition of fine music making, and now our young singers can participate too!

How does my child get to his/her Enrichment class?
How do I pick up my student from an Enrichment class?
Please remember to be prompt! We have a 5-minute grace period and you may be charged a late fee for late pickup.
The class I wanted to enroll in is full. What now?
We cannot guarantee that a spot will open for your student, but full classes and waitlists let us know which classes we should offer again!
Do we have class on non-school days?
If school is cancelled for any reason, including inclement weather, Enrichment classes will not be held. These classes will either be made-up or you will be refunded for the missed class.
What is your refund policy?
You may always drop a class after the deadline, but you will not be eligible for a refund.
If class is cancelled for any reason, the class will either be rescheduled or you will be refunded for the cancelled class.
