Entrance and Security Vestibule
In a continued effort to keep our students and staff safe please note the following expectations:
1. Campus entrances will be locked at 9:30 a.m. The entrance of the school has a security vestibule that will be starting Feb 22nd. Parents and students will have to check in after 9:30 a.m.
2. Food deliveries. If you want to bring your child food, please drop it off at the front office. We are not allowing outside food deliveries from the different services. This is a very large safety concern.
Attendance Matters
A reminder about attendance:
Students can complete attendance recovery by following these steps:
1. Students need to sign into their NISD Portal.
2. Find and Click on the Homework Hotline Tile
3. Have them fill out the digital form
4. It will take them to a live Chat Agent that will assign them an AR Room if they do not need tutoring OR a tutor if they need assistance with an assignment.
5. Our AR Monitors are very strict and all students MUST agree to and follow our rules or they will be released.
From the Counseling Department:
On Wednesday, February 16th, during 2nd period, students selected their courses for the 2022-2023 school year. If your child was absent, they can still submit their course requests by accessing the “ 22-23 Course Selection Form” in Schoology on the Counseling Department tile. This form will be open for students until Wednesday, February 23rd. After Spring Break, students will receive a copy of their course requests for next school year and they will have an opportunity to make changes up until the last day of school, June 2, 2022.
