Message From The Principal

Westbrook Families,

There is so much to be thankful for as we conclude this school year! Westbrook is truly an amazing place and we all are so thankful to support the students, families and community members here in Glenview. This year we have enjoyed some of our new spaces across the building and learned a lot of new routines and procedures for students, parents and staff. A big thank you to all for your support this year.

A big thank you to the support of our PTA! You continuously make Westbrook a better place and enrich the learning experience for our students and teachers! We are thankful for your leadership this year to have parents return back to the classrooms for a variety of experiences.

Congratulations to our second grade class as they move on from Westbrook! Many will become gators next year at Glen Grove. For any family that has moved or is moving, we wish you nothing but the best in your new transition!

To our returning families, we look forward to another summer filled with construction that will bring more updates to Westbrook for the 2023-2024 school year. We are looking forward to updating our front hallway for all new learning spaces for first and second grade classrooms as well as new larger updated bathroom facilities. We also look forward to a brand new music room for our students too!

It has been a wonderful year here at Westbrook. Thank you all, I am fortunate and honored to be the Principal here at Westbrook.

Early Bird Registration Deadline is NEXT FRIDAY June 9. Register today to save!

Online registration for the 2023-2024 school year is open! You can register your child using District 34's online registration system any time. You also can verify residency (if applicable) and pay fees securely and conveniently online. Register before June 9 to take advantage of the early registration discount of $100 ($300 for full-day kindergarten).

Spanish, Korean & Mongolian Interpretation

Our Spanish, Korean and Mongolian interpreters are available by appointment to help with registration. Appointments are available at the District Office (1401 Greenwood Road) Monday-Friday from 4:00-8:00pm from May 8-31 and June 1-9.

Please sign up for an appointment here at least 48 hours before the date and time you select.

IF YOU PLAN TO MOVE OVER THE SUMMER, PLEASE LET THE SCHOOL OFFICE KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO WE CAN PROPERLY PREPARE FOR THE NEXT SCHOOL YEAR. THANK YOU!

New This School Year!

Families who wish to request a waiver of the required registration fees for the 2023-2024 school year will complete a new fee waiver application. The form is available at glenview34.org/fees, and you only need to complete one application per family, regardless of the number of children who attend D34 schools.

This fee waiver is separate from the National School Lunch free/reduced lunch application, and applies to all grades, including full-day kindergarten.
