The Willard Weekly

May 9, 2016

Dear Willard Families and Community,

It was wonderful to see all our families turn out for Open House! Our IB scholars shared stellar portfolios that showcased their research and IB projects. We are very proud of our student's hard work.

Thank you for supporting WAF's Price is Right Silent Auction!

PTA is collecting gently used books to sell on May 19th and May 20th. Please drop off gently used books in the collection boxes in the main hallway and outside the library.

This May we are celebrating the whole child. Therefore, we are revisiting all the attitudes and the learner profile. Our IB students strive to demonstrate the attitudes of appreciation, commitment, confidence, cooperation, creativity, curiosity, empathy, enthusiasm, independence, integrity, respect, and tolerance. As a part of our IB learner profile our students are working toward being inquirers who are knowledgeable thinkers that communicate effectively. Our students seek to be principled, open-minded, caring, courageous, balanced, and reflective. Please discuss these with your child(ren).

Green Team

Please wear green on Tuesday to celebrate I.B. Green. However, please wear your uniform the rest of the week.

Running Club

Don’t forget that running club runs every morning from 7:30-7:45.

The Willard Weekly is posted on Willard’s Facebook page. Be sure to like it.
