Breast Cancer Awareness

Importance of Breast Cancer Awareness
Breast Cancer awareness is so important because people don’t seem to understand gravity of Breast Cancer until them or their loved one receives the disease. Everyone should be heavily informed about this chronic illness in any way possible.
Facts about Breast Cancer...
- One in eight women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death among women.
- Each year it is estimated that over 246,660 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer and more than 40,000 will die.
- An estimated 2,600 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer and approximately 440 will die each year.
How can I help?
I encourage others to make Breast Cancer awareness more informative than it already is by raising money from fundraisers and donating it to a Breast Cancer foundation such as the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Organization. (Link down below)
