John Locke was an English philosopher. John Locke was born August 29, 1632 and died October 28, 1704. He was influenced by Tomas Hobbes, Rene Descartes, Aristotle, Plato, ect... . He went to oxford to study medicine he wen't to Westminster in London. His father was a captain in the English war and he was a country lawyer.

Karl Marx was a philosopher just like John Locke. He was born May 5, 1818 and died May 14, 1883. Karl Marx was also a economist, sociologist, journalist, and revolutionary socialist. He spent most of his time in London in the United Kingdom. He was influenced by Georg Wilhelm, Friedrich Hegel, Ludwig Feuerbach, (etc...) . Karl Marx's father was Heinrich Marx, he was a lawyer and the father of a philosopher.
What did Karl Marx think?
Karl Marx believed that he had found the key to all history. He thought that the communism would over throw the capitalism and the oppressed workers would finally be free. The history did not work out the way Karl Marx had thought it would, the industrial revolution began in the late 1700's.
