GET INVOLVED
Wondering how you can get involved with LGBT Programming at Murray State? We have so many ways for you to engage at the level you are most comfortable with. From leading a training to wearing a button, we have opportunities for you to show your support for our LGBTQ+ Racers!
Our Safe Spaces resource cards offer an opportunity for allies to have a visible presence in the LGBT Programming office. Submit your information and the photo that you would like used. We will print out your resource card and place it on the wall in the office where it will be visible to students. This is a great way for you to let students know that you offer a safe space on Murray State's campus.
Safe Zone 3.0 Special Topics
Do you have expertise in an area that should/could be incorporated into our Safe Zone program? Safe Zone 3.0 is designed to offer continued training and growth opportunities for individuals who are committed to allyship and the Safe Zone program. These special topic trainings will cover a broad array of content with an interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary approach. Whether you provide service and support or represent an academic area, Safe Zone 3.0 is an opportunity for you to connect your field to the Safe Zone program. Contact the office today to discuss how you can enhance our campus by facilitating a Safe Zone 3.0 training on the topic or area that you represent!
