  • PTO Bingo Night is Friday, January 27th from 6-8:00 pm. It is held at Valley Middle School. Details are below!
  • Our second grade music concert is February 2nd at 7:00 pm.
  • No School on Thursday, February 9 and Friday, February 10 for conferences.
  • No School on Monday, February 20 for President's Day.

UPCOMING - PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES

The link to sign up for conferences will be available on Monday, January 23 on the Southview website. Below is the schedule of dates and times:


Conference Times:

Wednesday, February 8 - 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Thursday, February 9 - 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. (No School for Students)

Friday, February 10 - No School

E-Learning

If an inclement weather E-learning day occurs:

  • Please check Schoology/Seesaw in the morning for instructions from teachers for the day’s assigned learning activities. Teachers will post assigned learning activities on Schoology/Seesaw by 9:30 AM.
  • There will be no live/synchronous (Zoom) instruction. Rather, learning activities will be designed for students to complete independently at home. Students will spend about 30 minutes focused on math, 40 minutes focused on literacy, and about 30 minutes for specialist time.
  • Teachers can be reached for questions via Seesaw/Schoology message, email or voice mail during normal school-day hours.
  • If your child is unable to participate in E-Learning due to illness or vacation, please call/email the school to report the absence.

Morning Drop-Off

If you drop students off in the morning: Once you enter the parking lot and get to the long, straight part of the sidewalk, have students get out right away. Staff members are there to help. Please do not wait until you get to the doors, as that holds up the drop off line. Thank you for helping us keep the line moving!
