JHS Student/Family Weekly Update
Week of October 26th: News, Links & Updates
Please click the links below for an update on grades at Jefferson High School!
The JHS Female Empowerment Club wanted to do something for the school for Breast Cancer Awareness month so the officers designed a zoom background. They are asking staff to use it for the rest of the month to show their support. Please also follow their Instagram account. Take a picture wearing pink, or a picture using the Zoom background and tag the IG account: @jeff.femaleempowerment. Please post anytime this month to show your support!
Counselor Tip of the Week:
In all that is going wrong, what is going right? You are starting off strong in Quarter 2, Grizzlies! Wouldn't it be great to start to reach out and meet your Q2 classmates in classes and breakout rooms? Turn on those cameras and get to know those in your classes and get to know your teachers. Be comfortable with the uncomfortable. Together we are stronger! Ask your school counselor if you have questions.
Athletics Update: The safety and security of our students and staff is a top priority. Consequently, the JUHSD Board has put athletic conditioning on hold. They will re-assess this decision in 30 days. Also, if you have not completed your on-line registration, please do so. Your current physical must also be uploaded to your account.
