We are also planning a car parade again through the neighborhoods for September 18th starting at 1:00 pm! More information will be coming soon!

Virtual Calming Room
This Virtual Calming Room is a place for students and families to find tools and strategies for managing emotions and feelings. We are here to support you!
Northshore School District counselors want you to know that your feelings are valid, no matter what they are. You might feel scared, confused, overwhelmed, angry, alone, grateful, or completely calm. Your feelings are normal; the situation is not. Don't forget to take care of yourself and the ones you love.

If you are in need of a device, please fill out the above form to receive any device on supply pick up day (date to be determined). Students without any internet access can request hotspots using the same form. One hotspot will be provided per family. Parents looking to get their devices exchanged can use the same form to swap out devices. Please bring the charger along with your old device if you are swapping out devices.

Distribution of the kits to EVERY student will occur on September 1st at Crystal Springs. Please enter through the SOUTH parking lot.

THESE KITS WERE SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED BY THE STAFF FOR CRYSTAL SPRINGS STUDENTS:
Each grade level created a list to help your child be successful during online learning. If you are able to purchase a kit, the instructions are below. However, we want you to know that EVERY child will get a kit, whether you are able to buy one or not. Please let Mrs. Nielsen know if you have any questions.

Schoology Trainings for Parents
As we are approaching the start of the new school year, we want to be sure families are prepared for Northshore Learns 3.0, our distance learning model which will begin on Sept. 2. The district will hold parent orientations to ensure families have the support they need for Northshore Learns 3.0. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions through Q and A during each session. Sessions will be held at the following times:
- Monday, Aug. 31 at 5 p.m. - Northshore Learns 3.0 Parent Orientation (in Spanish)
- Tuesday, Sept. 1 at 8 a.m. - Northshore Learns 3.0 Parent Orientation (in English)
- Thursday, Sept. 3 at 5 p.m. - Northshore Learns 3.0 Parent Orientation (in English)
- Thursday, Sept. 3 at 6:30 p.m. - Northshore Learns 3.0 Parent Orientation (in Telugu)

Free and Reduced Lunch Applications
These can now be completed online. The online applications will be available in English and Spanish on the Northshore School District website at: https://www1.nsd.org/schools/get-started/food-services/free-and-reduced-price-breakfast-lunch
The application only takes a few minutes and is the fastest, easiest way to get approved.
Paper applications are also available in the school office and at the district office.
*FAMILIES MUST REAPPLY FOR BENEFITS EACH YEAR- COMPLETE ONLY ONE APPLICATION PER HOUSEHOLD.
*Qualifying for free and reduced lunch also ensures your child receives financial support for school items such as sports, 5th grade camp and field trips.
