The 9/11 Memorial
The 9/11 memorial will consist of two reflecting pools that stand at the footprints of the old world trade centers. Each pool has a thirty foot man made waterfall. The pools are bordered by bronze parapets that have the names of the 2,983 victims of the 1993 and 2001 attacks. Each pool holds up to 45,000 gallons of water and is heated so the pools are open year round.
