    • Students will continue to model and solve one-variable, one-step equations and inequalities beginning on Wednesday.

    • This week we will be revisiting our Algebra unit.

    • Students will learn to represent functions with tables, graphs, maps, and ordered pairs.

    • Students will differentiate between linear and non-linear functions.

    • Students will also compare and contrast functions using their rates of change.

    • There will be a knowledge check on Friday.

    Humanities ~ Mrs. Moore, Ms. Lindamood, and Mrs. Strother

    • World War II Test Monday (moved from the previous Wednesday)
    • Literature Circle discussion time on Tuesday and Friday
    • Students will extend their knowledge of mood and tone and its application to author's purpose in our literature circles.

    Art ~ Mrs. Beam

    This week in Art, we will be jumping into our one-point perspective unit. Students will learn the basics of drawing in one point perspective and have the opportunity to apply that knowledge in one of three creative approaches. Students will need Chromebooks charged and ready to go each day.


    Save the Date! STEAM Art show is set for March 3! Reception will take place from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Come join us as well celebrate the hard work STEAM Art students have done this year. Each student will have a piece of work that is framed, matted, and ready to hang for sale. Proceeds will go towards the STEAM Art Program. Let Mrs. Beam know if you have any questions!

    Beginning Band ~ Mr. Sypert

    Students have received some of their spring concert music and are encouraged to begin exploring that on their own.

    Scales videos are due each Wednesday night for the next several weeks. Please check google classroom for more details.
