Many of you have shared your desire to write a grant for next year. Just wanted to keep you in the loop! I LOVE seeing those BIG checks dancing down the hallways of BES!!! Let Tracy and I know if you need any help with grant writing!

GRANTS FOR TEACHERS
Reports for grants received in 2017-18 are due June 30th. We emailed a reminder and attached the form on March 6th. Principals were CCd. The week of July 9th, our office will communicate if anything is missing so you have a chance to remedy.
The new year’s cycle will open mid-July. We are in the process of making minor edits. One big change for the new year is that all purchases must be through preferred vendors and furniture and software purchases must be preapproved through purchasing. The curriculum and technology approvals will continue as they have in the past. Don’t fret! We will coach you to success.
Announcements from Curriculum and Instruction:
COMPLIANCE COURSES AND REGION 10
The Region 10 Online Learning Center is the content provider for the district’s Sexual Harassment and Suicide Prevention compliance courses. Region 10 has stated that the 2018-2019 compliance courses will be available on July 1st. Access to these two courses will be available for registration in Eduphoria’s Workshop once Region 10 releases them to us. Other compliance courses such as the UIL Rules Compliance Trainings, Bloodborne Pathogens and D2L: Child Abuse and Prevention Training will be available as eCourses in Workshop on June 1st.
