Wow! The Elementary students had an awesome jump rope event today. Thank you so much Mr. Bradley for heading this event. The students were able to choose from three different events: forward jumping, backward jumping and one foot jumping. Top five in each category/class and overall received ribbons and trophies. We are so proud of each student for all the practice they have done. So far the students have exceeded their fundraising goal of $2,000 with still two weeks to go. There is still the opportunity to earn prizes. Thank you so much for your support of this awesome event.

This week the SWAU Enactus Club worked with KAES students to understand the growing process. They introduced songs and talked with students about the benefits of fruits and vegetables. After students learned all about the growing process they each had the chance to plant in the new vegetable garden provided by the club.

Hopefully you were able to see these two students get baptized at the Keene Church during KAES Kids Sabbath. We are very proud of August and Logan and their decision to follow Jesus and be baptized.

After two years on hold because of Covid-19 Outdoor School is back! The plans are in place so that at 2:30 pm Sunday, March 20, 2022 6th and 7th grade students will load up the bus and head off for Camp Hoblitzelle where they will spend the next four days learning in nature.

Over the years we have been pleased to cover credit card processing fees for our KAES families. As online shopping and banking have increased so has the financial demand of carrying 2.2% in credit card processing fees (as they are being used more). KAES is no longer able to carry this cost on its own. We are writing to inform you that credit card surcharges will now be included on all credit card charges. It is our commitment to keep these fees as low as possible and will continue to shop around if these fees increase. If you would like to avoid this charge, we do accept cash and check. This can be payed at the front desk. Thank you again KAES families for your continued support. The KAES board and adminstration are doing their best to be transparent and moderate tuition costs.

Wednesday - Subway, potatoes, chips and juice

Thursday - Quesadillas, rice, beans and juice

Friday - Hot dogs, potato wages, carrots, cucumbers, cheese stick and juice
